A few warm minutes. Every evening.
The American Academy of Ophthalmology describes a simple routine: a warm, wrung-out washcloth over closed eyes. Lidsana turns that idea into a ritual that fits into any day – no sink required.

Why warmth
The tear film needs its oil layer.
“The tears of the eyes are made of three layers: water, oil and mucus.” (Johns Hopkins Medicine). The oil layer is the one a warm compress is all about.
- Oil layer: a very thin film made by tiny glands along the eyelid margin, the meibomian glands. It helps slow the evaporation of the water underneath.
- Warmth: the oils from these glands soften with warmth, as a 2022 review of eyelid-warming methods describes (Bzovey & Ngo, Clinical Optometry).
- Expert tip: “Using a gentle warm compress for 8–10 minutes before bed can help increase oil in the tear film.” (Johns Hopkins Medicine)
Everyday life
Four reasons for Lidsana.

Open it and you're done
The mask warms up by itself once you open the pouch. No heating water, no reheating.

Hands-free
The ear loops hold the mask. You just lean back – on the couch, in bed or at your desk.

Fits in any bag
Flat, individually wrapped pouches. So the ritual comes along to the office and on trips.

Fresh every time
Every mask is made for one use. Nothing to wash, nothing to dry, nothing to store.
Comparison
Why not just a warm washcloth?
Same idea: warmth for your eyelids. Very different effort. This compares handling – not results.

Who it's for
For anyone whose eyes have had enough by evening.
Many people know the feeling: mornings are fine, afternoons get harder, and by evening the eyes feel tired, dry and a little gritty.
- Screen days: we blink about 15 times a minute – but only about 5 to 7 times at computers and other screens (American Academy of Ophthalmology).
- Reading and TV in the evening, after the eyes have worked all day.
- Dry indoor air from heating in winter and AC in summer.
- Midlife: hormone shifts around perimenopause affect the glands that make the tear film's oil layer (Johns Hopkins Medicine).
How it works
Three simple steps.
Open the pouch
The mask starts warming up by itself once it's opened.
Put it on
Place it over your closed eyes and loop it over your ears. Take out contact lenses first.
Lean back
Enjoy about 10 minutes of gentle warmth – follow the instructions on the pack. Then toss the mask.
